SBBCINT and MRCE have entered into a new agreement to further expand their business in the coming six years.
Within this timeframe, significantly more MRCE locomotives will be delivered to SBBCINT for the traction on the north-south corridor from The Netherlands to Italy and will fully replace their Bombardier Traxx MS (Re 484) fleet. The new agreement between SBBCINT and MRCE will increase their current volume of business to more than 25 locomotives and brings mainly Siemens ES64F4 (BR 189) locomotives to the operation of SBBCINT.
For these operations, customized services have been developed between MRCE and SBBCINT.
SBBCINT and MRCE have been doing business together for nearly a decade. Over these years, the business relation between MRCE and SBBCINT has developed into a strategic partnership.
MRCE is now able to offer lease and service products to the market which were jointly developed with their customers.
